With six solo albums, four of those released internationally, and guest spots on hundreds of releases, New Zealander Nathan Haines has been at the forefront of modern soul, jazz and electronic music for over twenty years.

Haines has carved out a successful international career, collaborating with a huge number of big-name artists including Reel People, Jamiroquai, Karl Orr and Billy Cobham, 4-Hero, Da Lata, Masters at Work, Louie Vega, Jon Cutler and many more.

Nathan Haines new album ‘Right Now!’ was recorded and produced between London and Auckland. It was executive produced by Mike Patto (Reel People) and mixed by Mike and Felix Hopkins at Fluidity Studios London.

The album is a classic blend of ’80s synth style funk, soul and dance floor jazz, with Haines’ trademark flute, sax and vocal work at it’s heart.

The clip was shot on RED by Bunker Media director Luke Sharpe and DoP Crighton Bone.

Up-and-coming Digipost digital artist Matt Westbrooke composited the clip in Smoke, maticulously integrating the numerous 3D robot elements created by designer, Ian Lopez.

Digipost senior colourist and digital intermediate lead Pete Williams took care of the grade in the DI suite.

Williams spent considerable time finessing the pictures to achieve a highly polished look and feel, complimenting the nature and quality of Haines’ piece.

The clip was output in high definition for broadcast.
