    Digipost congratulates visual effects supervisor Charlie McClellan who picked up a popular ‘Best Visual Effects in a Feature Film’ for his work on New Zealand feature ‘Under the Mountain’ at the 2010 Qantas Film and Television Awards.

    The cream of New Zealand’s film and television industries celebrated the awards on September 18, at a glittering gala event in the Civic Theatre, Auckland. Guests totalled more than 750 including New Zealand Prime Minister John Key.

    A deserving recipient, McClellan is well known in the New Zealand industry, having worked on a slew of national and international projects including features ‘30 Days of Night’, ‘Perfect Creature’, ‘Underworld: Rise of the Lycans’, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy and high rating US television series ‘Spartacus: Blood and Sand’ among others.

    Working with McClellan, Digipost completed post production for ‘Under the Mountain’ including film transfers, grading, compositing and visual effects.
