Garry Little - Lifetime Achievement Award

Digipost Managing Director, Garry Little, was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award at the 30th annual CAANZ Axis Awards, held on March 25, 2010.
The award was presented in front of a full house of Garry’s friends, family and industry peers, during CAANZ’s anniversary celebrations.
The presentation was punctuated with well-wishes from many, and included a special video of film, television and ad industry’s heavyweights, thanking and congratulating him.
Garry’s work in the industry spans 40 years, beginning in 1969 when he joined the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation as a Technical Cadet, fresh from school.
His subsequent career as a gifted TV and video editor took him around the world, where he worked on many international award-winning TV commercials.
In 1986 he won a Gold Camera award at the US Industrial Film Festival.
Garry co-founded Digital Post in 1990, pioneering digital post production in New Zealand. With business partner, Greg Fay, Garry has built Digipost into one of the most successful and enduring businesses in our industry today.
Garry has helped bring to life the visions of countless New Zealand directors and producers. Under his leadership, Digipost have delivered literally thousands of high quality commercials and worked on many successful international feature film and television projects.
Garry has been an enduring supporter of CAANZ and Axis, and an active board member for Film Auckland for many years. He recently accepted an invitation to join the board of Film New Zealand.
The Axis Lifetime Achievement award coincides with Digipost’s 20th anniversary as New Zealand’s leading digital post production house.
