Digipost has two Grass Valley Spirit systems – Spirit 2K and Classic. We operate New Zealand’s only Spirit 2K, coupled with da Vinci 2K Plus colour corrector.

The Spirit 2K package provides real time transfer of 35mm film for commercials and feature film projects. It can perform 2K scanning for feature work at 24 fps. Both Spirit systems support PAL, NTSC, HDTV and 2K film resolution.

For film makers, the Spirit 2K also provides a fast and cost effective path to scan and then grade in the non-linear environment of Digipost’s new Baselight FOUR system and Digital Intermediate Grading Theatre.
